      This position is responsible for the daily supervision and operations of the Follow Up Billing Specialists by managing the billing of client receivables and the accompanying coordination of claim submission and reimbursement processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: . Audits all staff monthly, ensuring that associate billing accuracy exceeds 95%. . Evaluates all charges entered for transmission to the claim for accuracy and completeness. . Evaluates all denials for opportunities in billing practice modifications to mitigate denials to poor documentation and forwards to the Director of Revenue for evaluation and education. . Distributes daily workload for follow up staff and makes sure set standards are followed with respect to productivity and accountability. . Conducts regular staff meetings and keeps staff informed of departmental updates and billing requirements set by the Director of Revenue. . Coordinates and handles training of the follow up staff in daily operations for appropriate third party billing and follow up activity. . Monitors job performance, counsels' employees as needed. . Assists the Director of Revenue in writing and establishing operating procedures to meet Billing regulations/compliance and follow up enhancement. . Monitors payment and denial activity for correct reimbursement by payer. . Analyzes reports to determine areas of improvement and determine appropriate plan of action plan and conduct meetings with subordinates to ensure compliance with established practices, to implement new policies and to keep employees abreast of current changes and standards. . Ensures that all standard billing practices and guidelines are followed.
