  As Group Counsel I am responsible for particular areas of the business. Specifically I look after the legal and permitting requriements for the Carrapateena exploration project and am responsible for native title issues as they relate to that project. This is a large copper deposit in South Australia which has a Retention Lease granted by the State for the purposes of conducting advanced exploration activities. The area is the subject of a native title claim by the Kokatha Uwankara Native Title Group.
