  www.sigurdlarsen.com Sigurd Larsen is a Berlin based Danish architect working within the fields of architecture and furniture design. He has a master degree from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen and previously been employed at OMA-Rem Koolhaas in New York, MVRDV in Rotterdam and Topotek1 in Berlin. Sigurd Larsen founded the design studio in 2009 and recently completed several single-family houses in Denmark and a series of loft rooms at Michelberger hotel in Berlin. His furniture is available in stores and galleries in Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Zürich, Helsinki, Porto, Istanbul and 12 other cities. The work of the design studio combines the aesthetics of high quality materials with concepts focusing on functionality in complex spaces. Since 2016 Sigurd Larsen is Professor at BAU International University in Berlin. 2011-2017 Sigurd Larsen is assistant professor at University of the Arts, Berlin where he teaches architectural design with Professor Enrique Sobejano, co-founder of Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos.   COBE is a progressive and contemporary community of architects that focuses on architecture and design – from buildings to public space, to large scale urban planning, and research. In 2005 Dan Stubbergaard and Vanessa Miriam Carlow founded COBE. The name COBE is derived from the two cities the founders are coming from - COpenhagen and BErlin. Since its establishment, COBE has gained international recognition through the realization of beautiful and innovative projects. Today, COBE is two separate companies - one seated in Copenhagen; COBE ApS headed by Dan Stubbergaard, and one in Berlin; COBE Berlin GmbH founded by Prof. Dr. Vanessa Miriam Carlow in October 2012. Sigurd Larsen joined COBE Berlin in October 2013 as partner. The two offices have shared a number of projects in the past, and apart from developing projects individually, they continue to share and collaborate on selected projects - also in the future.
