I have worked with Sig Watkins in many roles and industries for almost 20 years now. Those include bringing her in to help consult at Europort UK and hiring her to be an integral part of the broadcast and media team for the London 2012 and Sochi 2014 Olympic Games. In those roles, Sig had to manage the broadcast and media operations at two of the highest profile and most stressful venues for those Olympic Games. A similar role to my stint at Sochi and London, this involved managing the Mixed Zone interview process for Boxing at the Games, as well as running the Broadcast Information Team at the venue. The event was well organised and excellently attended, and we had a host of boxing royalty at the event which resulted in much media interest and a high attendance. I was responsible for running a team of 10 Liason Officers at the Tennis venue for London 2012. I had to ensure Liason Officers were covering each televised court and servicing all rights holding Broadcasters attending the venue as well as being part of the player liason team, guiding various competitors from courtside to the Mixed Zone interview areas. It was a fantastic opportunity and I enjoyed it immensely. I was responsible for running a team of 10 Liason Officers at the Tennis venue for London 2012.
