I am happy to announce that two months ago I was elected as a chair and CEO of BASAFUL. Today I am already familiar with my new position, duties and responsibilities. I know that this will not be easy, it will be challenging but I have a fantastic team- supporting Vice-chair, skilful department leads as an executive team, trustful and hardworking members and an experienced Advisory board. I believe that for now, you have already heard that last year we showed impressive growth, this year it will be a challenge to sustain such good performance. For the previous two months, we have been working on strategic things, identifying weak points, recognising our strengths, and having discussions with members because I believe that we will succeed only if we work together as a team. Every team member knows which direction we are moving. BASAFUL is a place to face your biggest fears and make your dreams come true. We offer students a place to explore themselves and recognise their strengths and weaknesses while providing support on the way if it is needed. We work on internal improvements to provide an even more exciting experience for every BASAFUL member. If something seems unlogical we discuss it and improve it so in the future we could work even more productive. I already know that this will be an amazing adventure. I believe that on way I will improve my leadership skills, master communication and public speech skills, deal with unpredicted things and improve improvisation skills, develop partnerships and collaborations, motivate members and many other skills. I am happy that I believe in myself, I am happy that I am brave enough to step out of my comfort zone to face new challenges. I am ready to learn. I am ready to support and motivate. Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant to the CEO of Walmoo, and the director of the bachelor's program Startup Management aka Business Academy and Kurzeme region leed of Accenture all in one person, my responsibilities included creating and organizing documents, scheduling meetings, planning tasks, and creating schedules. I also met with people and helped solve problems, as well as researched and gathered information on specific topics. One of the main things I learned while working as a personal assistant was how to effectively manage my own tasks and time. This was especially challenging given that I was a full-time student and track and field athlete, and also participated in various student grant projects. Despite these challenges, I understood the importance of not letting my responsibilities as an assistant slip and worked hard to ensure that all tasks were completed to the best of my ability. If I didn't know how to do something, I made sure to do the necessary research and figure it out, always striving to do my best for the person I was assisting. Show less
