The goal was to direct potential employers to the site to view the client's work and hire them. So a 2-page format was chosen with the client's reel and a linear overview of their full portfolio presented on the home page. On the 'about' page, the client's software proficiencies and experience is articulated along with a contact card. A simple 3-page website format including a linear overview of private lessons offered in Latin, Spanish, Italian, and general Phonology, and an integrated Calendly booking form for lessons. The goal was to direct leads generated from Turrigiano's youtube channel toward booking private lessons, and to unify Turrigiano's linguistic practice as a content creator and teacher. Fire Flowers and a Time Machine was a collection of live, outdoor performances including monologues, poetry, dance, and ritual. For the virtual iteration of this project, I was asked to design a website where viewers could watch the Fire Flowers performance recordings within a linear structure that honored the original narrative of the live experience. Storytelling was integral to both the user experience and the core concept of Fire Flowers and a Time Machine. To establish this structure, groups of videos were organized into stages, allowing viewers to move through each stage and select one among a few video options (effectively replicating the programming of the live performances). Dreamscape Archives was a collaborative, multimedia retelling of the legacy of Citrine Freedmen, a fictional revolutionary who touches the lives of future generations. The project was intended to be a public art exhibition, but evolved into a virtual exhibition during Covid-19.
