Since I joined the Promenade team in January of 2022, Sierra has been one of our team's best performers. She’s been a true pleasure to work with, and her passion for art and design is evident in everything she does. Some of the things I would like to highlight about her performance: ● A consistently high level of design work across all projects; ● Constant improvement to her design process and skillset; ● Accountability in everything she does - Sierra has never handed in her work past the due date, incomplete or below our team standards; ● Her leadership skills - she leads all her projects with a firm hand while being very mindful of both timelines and the team's dynamics and relationships. In addition, I would also like to mention a few of her most significant accomplishments during our time together: ● Her illustration work has been instrumental in shaping the Promenade and BloomNation brands into what they are today; ● She delivered multiple extremely important collateral pieces (ebooks, guides, emails, etc.) that pushed forward a number of marketing campaigns and led to hundreds of leads generated for several verticals; ● Sierra was singlehandedly responsible for our B2C Tailored Email program - she delivered so many custom emails our Partners truly loved. Sierra's work has been invaluable to our team, and I am sure she will continue playing a key role in expanding the Promenade and BloomNation brands.

I have been working with Sierra as her manager. Whether faced with tight deadlines or complex projects, Sierra has consistently risen to the challenge and surpassed expectations. I have always been confident in assigning her critical tasks, knowing she will tackle them professionally and creatively. Her illustration skills are second to none, consistently wowed colleagues alike. Her creative approach and innovative thinking have added a fresh perspective to our campaigns, making them stand out in a competitive market. Plus, she's a fantastic team player, always ready to collaborate and spread good vibes. So, if you're looking for a rockstar graphic designer, trust me, she's the one!

My highlights at Promenade have been making fun brand illustrations / icon sets, a whole exploration on modern email templates, creating an Instagram filter from scratch, and of course long-form layout projects. More recently, I'm learning After Effects to create seamless gifs for our website. I design digital ads, emails, illustrations, icon sets, social posts, animate gifs, edit/find stock photos, design print and digital documents (like flyers, postcards, ebooks, reports).

I've taken on freelance illustration projects over the last 8 years in addition to my fulltime work. I've created portraits of dogs AND people, t-shirt designs, illustrations / icon sets for web, and stickers. The highlight of this role is that I make the big creative decisions and don't finish until the client is happy. Jonas & Co. contacted me to work on a couple of their animated projects. These projects had a fast turnaround time but I delivered! I worked closely with the director to create assets for Dish Network's Spooktacular commercial (this included creating 'spooky' props, like haybales, cauldrons, and crows). I also edited in logos, text, and pre-existing illustrations into certain scenes. The director hired me again to work as a designer on Face's Music Party, an animated NickJr. show, where I sketched out props and backgrounds then created them in a vector as a finished product. Designed a grasshopper character turnaround for “Night.” I was also tasked with creating the end credits. Show less

I worked with the owner/director of Moving Colour to produce engaging animation projects for Amazon, Disney, MSNBC, Casper, Alaska Airlines, Square, and Spotify. I streamlined project timelines, created shot lists, and provisioned resources to meet critical project deadlines. I had to maintain a constant line of communication between executive teams, clients, and animators. I had to hustle in this role! I was setting up heavy equipment, crafty, and walkie talkies for the crew. I also created artwork (for the Art Dept.) to establish an immersive set design for background actors. I created pop-up signs and sets that enhanced the visual storytelling for an independent film and ensured security by managing pedestrian traffic. Me and one other production assistant supported 50+ crew members. I had to hustle in this role! I was setting up heavy equipment, crafty, and walkie talkies for the crew.
