Under the guidance of UTHealth Houston's Dr. Laura Uribarri, the student analyzed air quality data spanning from 2000 to 2022 from the Joint Advisory Committee and affiliated agencies. A timeline retrospective was completed of the policies, programs, and initiatives created to ameliorate air quality in the Paso Del Norte Region. Similarly, a literature review on the Patriot Act the effects on the border and the subsequent air quality has been ongoing.
