Last year I worked with Leadership Initiatives and through their Medical and Public Health internship I created a Public Health proposal with my team after learning about Malaria, Typhoid Fever, Respiratory Illness and Anemia in Bauchi State, Nigeria. I also preformed a live diagnosis with a patient through zoom. Throughout the year I also worked in their International Internship focusing on Advocacy, where me and my team worked with the local community in Madina Quarters, Nigeria, to create a free workshop focused on girls education. This July, I will continue to work with Leadership Initiatives in their Neuroscience Internship Program at Georgetown.

I have been working this year, and will continue to work with my Greenpeace Action Pod (groups of 3-10 people who work to create local change with Greenpeace). My group began by hosting larger zoom meetings for our fellow peers surrounding climate activism, and are now working on creating a Toolkit on how to complete local activism with another Greenpeace activist.
