Sidhesh worked on my team for a few months before we had company-wide cuts - but I would rehire him easily. He joined our team as a Full-Stack intern, with a goal of becoming a Junior full-stack engineer, and in the time we worked together he made massive progress. His excellent ability to retain domain knowledge, and his drive to learn both in and out of work made the onboarding and teaching process incredibly easy compared to others in the same position. Engineers new to a field (in this case, migrating from Data Science and Operations into Full-Stack development) always require mentoring, but what sets one individual apart from another is eagerness to learn, and ability to become a core contributing member in a short amount of time.
