I am also responsible for managing the teams in the hub to deliver travel demand management, behaviour change and network mitigation projects to reduce the impact of disruptions to the way people travel across the West Midlands.   From joining the organisation as the second member of staff, my role at Sustainability West Midlands has varied greatly. For the first year, I helped to set up all systems for the organisation, all communications including a brand new website,launching a newsletter, managing operations and supporting the governance and a variety of projects. Following the implementation of a successful intern scheme, the communications role was handed over to a colleague and I now lead on operations and governance including our work with our members. Project work includes running part of the START event in Birmingham in 2010, running our Annual Conference in October 2011, supporting our work with business and managing the Climate Adaptation partnership.
