  I currently operate in a multi-faceted role as a Superintendent Pharmacist & Head of Purchasing for UK Meds, combining my passion for healthcare by overseeing the holistic running of the ever-flourishing pharmacy department, with my expertise in networking, negotiating and purchasing. Not only am I responsible for ensuring seamless integration of new quality management processes as the company continues to grow, but to also network with current and potential clientele to build both internal and external relationships. My role entails me to construct robust procurement systems for personnel to follow whilst allowing the tracking of key functional metrics to improve the effectiveness of our buying. I am responsible for managing key portfolios, initiating procurement partnerships with external vendors to secure advantageous terms using my dexterity in reading the market and liaising with key governing bodies to achieve the provision of licences. My role is one of leadership, using my natural aptitude in decision-making whilst specialising in maximising purchasing opportunities for business longevity and sustainability.
