As a civil engineer with MBA, I started in code compliance, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, performance monitoring on national housing program. For last 17 years as COO/CFO, now a President/Cofounder at IBTS, I have been responsible for the successful startup in 2002 of IBTS, its steady growth, and for its entrepreneurial solutions. Under my leadership, IBTS has grown more than 10 times in last dozen year to $50 million in annual revenues, staff from 28 to 250 in 2019, and serving through 10 regional offices in USA. IBTS has developed as a respected and preferred nonprofit service provider to communities and government agencies nationwide. My strategy has been to expand IBTS capability to meet all needs of a local community in serving its citizens, good governance, and managing built environment, engineering, and compliance issues. The diversity and focus on client satisfaction and staff training and development has led IBTS to have a long track record of success in all new government programs undertaken. IBTS has adopted many innovative ways to serve small and mid-size communities, including application of technology, quality assurance programs to improve services and reduce cost. I have started a number of new service divisions at IBTS to provide disaster recovery and economic development, Energy & sustainability, Local Governments services. I am responsible for all corporate operations, strategic planning, Human Capital, financial and asset management, and research and development to find innovative ways to meet emerging needs of communities and local/state governments.
