The internship was of 10 days duration with a total of 50 hours of working. During this time, i was allotted in the training department for autism students of the age 3- 14 years, I was involved with the School Readiness Programme: -Assisting the trainers in the preparation of teaching-learning materials. -Being a shadow for the students during sessions. observation of group speech therapy, art based therapy, movement therapy etc. overall it was a great exposure with the students of autism spectrum disorders, where I could understand the practical difficulties of autism behavior patterns. The online internship covered a 50 hour of sessions over a 15 days period in the field of clinical psychology under the department of mental health and behavioural sciences. During the course period the series is conducted under the patronage of Dr. Samir Parikh, Director, Fortis National Mental Health Program on many topics such as clinical assessments, DBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, Rorschach's test, art based therapy etc.,. overall the online internship provided an insightful journey through out the period. During the course of internship of 15 working days with (90 hours) in total, I participated in activities of learner's centre, also assisted students in classroom activities, physical training etc under the supervision of special educators. I further observed speech therapy sessions,occupational therapy sessions and life skill sessions during the internship period. overall it was a great hands on exposure and a satisfying experience among the students with developmental disabilities.
