I have worked with different clients since I started working here:1) Catawba Hospital, July 2013- PresentI created and tested approximately seventy-five reports using SQL Server Reporting Services for government law compliance, business process management, and executive dashboard on a complex healthcare data model. I used SQL Server Integration Services to transfer data from Access 2007 to SQL server database. I also helped design part of the new online hospital system using an agile ASP .NET developement tool, Turanto. 2) Department of Veterans Services, November 2013- August 2014I analyzed, designed, developed, and deployed an internet facing online application system used by the Veterans to apply for the Virginia Military Survivors and Dependent Education Program. I used an agile development tool, Turanto, to develop ASP.NET code which I then deployed on production servers (IIS on Windows Server 2012 with SQL Server 2012) after testing. I also created SQL scripts to migrate existing data from the initial release to the updated version.

I worked at Novozymes as a part of my senior design project with a team of two. We had to determine the cause of spore deposition on the walls of a spray dryer. We created a 3D model of the spray dryer using ANSYS CFX and ANSYS FLUENT and simulated the air flow patterns within the spray dryer using computational fluid dynamics. We then varied the process parameters such as nozzle angle, flow rate of air, etc to decrease the deposition hence resulting in higher yield. We presented our results to our supervisors as well as submitted a technical paper on our work.
