Sales Forecast 1. Through professional calculation formulas (such as Single exponential smoothing, Second exponential smoothing methods) monthly rolling forecasts for sofa raw material (leather) and finished furniture (dining table, side tables, chairs, etc).Output the plan for the next 4-6 months. -Forecast reference factors: budget, business indicators, sales promotions, store opening rhythm, product life cycle. Procure Planning 1. Rolling procure from suppliers according to the number of finished furniture predicted and the inventory level for stable delivery. -Dining chair product raw material - leather: Italian supplier, English mail/oral communication, import product processing. Quarterly orders. -Finished furniture: Domestic suppliers, rolling monthly orders. 2. Recording and Analyzing suppliers' data including Order Fill Rate, Delivery Accuracy. With the support of data, assist the factory to solve problems such as inaccurate stocking and messy production sequences. The follow-up factory delivery accuracy rate is from 80% to 98%, and the delivery rate is from 65% to 75%. 3. Develop stocking rules for products, such as safety stock levels, and calculate reorder points for stable product delivery. Under these efforts, the shortage of goods has been alleviated even under the serious uncontrollable environment, i.g. covid/carbon peak. The shortage has decreased from at least 2,000 pieces per month to less than 800 pieces per month and has been decreasing and improving. 4. Assisted monthly reconciliation. The purpose is to stabilize the delivery of payment. Earn an A grade in the annual job review. During the cooperation with suppliers, the supplier's personnel are unstable, which affects the delivery time. Went to understand the production situation and formulate production priorities in suppliers' factories. Gained a deeper understanding of the supply chain and the furniture industry at work. As part of being an orientation leader at Miami's Middletown and Hamilton campuses, I, along with a partner, was in charge of helping about 150 students and their parents navigate around the campus and helping them with the orientation process. We lead the students & parents around the campus to familiarize them with the buildings and campus resources. During the process of orientation, creating a healthy and interactive environment for the incoming students was an essential aspect of my job. And it was one of my responsibilities to make this transition easier for them by answering all their questions and helping them with registration. Show less
