  I focus on the fields of biodegradable polymer and polymer composites preparation, polymer process and natural polymer modification. With the financial support by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education and Guangdong province and so on, I had charged more than 10 research projects. Up to the day, I had published more than70 papers in SCI Journals and had issued more than 20 Chian Invention Patents.   During my stay, with Richard J. Spontak help, an Alumni Distinguished Professor, I worked on developing a new class of thermoplastic elastomer conductive gels (TPECGs) through the incorporation of ionic liquids into a microphase-ordered triblock ionomer. I determine the stability, as well as the electrical and mechanical properties, of these molecular composites. During my stay, with Richard J.
