  As far as my knowledge goes,turbine type flow meters are installed in the handle from where petrol is fed to the vehicle. Recently, I have seen a magnetic type flow transmitter installed in series with turbine meter in Reliance petrol pumps. In addition, most of the petrol pumps are installed with SCADA systems. With help of which the owner gets clear picture of how much petrol is being consumed and the billing amount.
