  Role – Leveraging IT & Tech to revive the COVID hit tourism body, business strategy, partnerships and more. Projects – Joined the tourism sector towards the end of 1st wave of COVID and worked on major revamping projects 1. Website – Was the Project Lead for MTDC’s customer facing website. Ideated, coordinated and managed the whole end-to-end development cycle of the user centric, scalable and secure portal. Project launched by the Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra. 2. Customer Feedback – Institutionalized a QR Code-based feedback system and engineered a robust review process for service improvement using sentiment analysis. 3. Introduced a ticket booking platform for MTDC’s unique experiences via partnership with Book My Show. 4. Business Unit setups – Spearheaded the design and setup of high revenue generating units, namely Boat Club Nashik, Boat Club Ganpatipule; and revamping of Indian Institute of Scuba Diving and Aquatic Sports (IISDA). 5.   Role -Setup war room, streamline processes and data flow, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, introduce and execute technological solutions to fight the pandemic. Notable Contributions – Working with stretched resources and giving my best to battle the pandemic 1. COVID Dashboard – Helped design a covid dashboard with projections for data-driven decision making. 2. Lead a team of 90 for demarcating containment zones to curb the COVID spread by data-driven triaging. Also collaborated with Google to make Mumbai the 1st city to have a containment zones layer on Maps. 3. Aarogya Setu Helpline – Setup a call center of 120 health workers to call, alert and assist the high-risk citizens. Data obtained from Bluetooth Proximity via Aarogya Setu and more than 5 lakh calls were made. 4. COVID Ambulance – Spearheaded a project in partnership with Uber to manage 500 ambulances focusing on effective deployment, tracking and optimization of ambulances to manage the COVID case load in Mumbai. 5. Tech Evaluations – Evaluated the HMIS systems and apps for COVID load management for Mumbai. 6. Facilitated and coordinated the delivery of 200 crores worth of CSR support to BMC’s hospitals. Notable Impact – Contributing in the public sector to directly or indirectly impact a population of 18 million 1. Education – Scaled 2 major projects in partnership with the NGOs Pratham and Pehlay Akshar to improve learning outcomes of 3 lakh students of municipal schools. 2. Drafted and executed a tender for School Management System for 1300 schools of BMC. 3. Open Spaces – Designed the new citizen-centric Parks and Gardens policy for Mumbai (Pending approval). 4. Transport – Drafted the Public Bike Sharing Policy for last-mile connectivity (Policy approved). 5. Also headed the setting up of state governments virtual classroom program for millions (> 22 million) of students to reduce the impact of the pandemic on education.
