Worked alongside MSA (Monash Student Association) Welfare Officers towards the development and delivery of a mental health training program that bridges the gap between the Moodle introductory mental health modules (Changing Minds & Introduction to Mental Health) and the 2-day Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course. This training would equip students in university-related leadership positions to support their peers with mental health, and triage them to appropriate services on-campus. It is envisaged the development of this content would be university-funded.

    • Resident Advisor
      • Jan 2021 - Dec 2021

Every hall of residence in Monash University has a team of Resident Advisors (RAs) providing support, engagement and development to the residential community. RAs are trained to be the first point of call for residents to handle critical incidences according to Monash Residential Service (MRS) protocol. I have been trained in Mental Health First Aid, suicide prevention, understanding queer issues, intimate partner violence and food safety. As a Sport and Well-being RA, my role is to plan and coordinate sport and well-being related events and activities to improve the overall well-being in the community.
