During my time at the hospital, I worked under the Apprentice Program, which allowed me to gain practical knowledge in a government hospital setting. One of my primary responsibilities as a Physiotherapist was to treat and rehabilitate patients with acute or chronic neurological and orthopaedic conditions. I worked in the Out-Patient Department (OPD) and provided personalized treatment plans for each patient, taking into account their unique needs and medical history. In addition to working in the OPD, I conducted daily rounds and routine check-ups with basic exercises for patients with neurological, orthopaedic, and cardiorespiratory conditions in the ICU and general wards. By working closely with patients in these settings, I gained a deep understanding of the importance of early intervention in rehabilitation, as well as the role that physiotherapy can play in improving a patient's quality of life. One of the most significant aspects of my work experience at Coal India Central Hospital was the opportunity to work in a government hospital setting. This experience allowed me to learn about the unique challenges and opportunities that come with working in a government hospital, including working with limited resources and providing care to patients from diverse backgrounds. Overall, my work experience at Coal India Central Hospital was an enriching experience that provided me with a comprehensive understanding of treating and rehabilitating patients with neurological and orthopaedic conditions. It was an incredible opportunity to work alongside skilled healthcare professionals, gain practical knowledge, and develop important skills that will serve me well in my future career as a physiotherapist. During my time at the clinic, I underwent on-job training that allowed me to work with adult patients, including athletes. One of my primary responsibilities as a part time Clinical Physiotherapist was to provide rehabilitation to patients with musculoskeletal injuries. I worked with patients who had a range of conditions, such as back pain, knee injuries, and sprains. Through my work, I learned how to assess the patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and implement rehabilitation exercises that would help them recover their mobility and strength. One of the most significant aspects of my work experience at Physio X10 was the opportunity to work in a clinical setting. I gained experience working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. This experience helped me develop my communication and interpersonal skills, as I learned how to effectively communicate with patients and their families about their healthcare needs and treatment plans. At NIMHANS, I had the privilege of working with patients of all age groups who were suffering from neuromuscular conditions, growth developmental disorders, and learning disabilities. This experience provided me with a deeper understanding of these conditions and how to manage them effectively. I also learned about rehabilitation techniques for complex cases such as Gullaine Barre Syndrome and stroke, which helped me gain practical knowledge and develop my clinical skills. One of the most significant aspects of my experience at NIMHANS was the opportunity to work with patients from different backgrounds and age groups. This allowed me to gain insights into the importance of cultural competency and how to adapt my approach to meet the needs of each patient. Show less
