  1. Purchase of raw materials, consumables, equipment, spare parts and associated services in coordination with operational requirement. 2. Develop Technical Specification / Catalogue / Data Sheet for all Engineering items. 3. Manage the buying process for a given set of goods & items in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets 4. Provide technical assistance to Company’s Purchase Team in buying various industrial items. 5. Liaison with factory in respect stock, requirement and procurement of engineering and other items. 6. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. 7. Actively participate in supplier performance reviews. 8. Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations 9. Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers 10. Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible 11. Deliver briefs, updates and reports as and when required 12. Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods 13.
