Mr. Bhamani has been a colleague of mine at Schaeffler for almost 20 years. In that time I was a recipient of Mr. Bhamani's extraordinary effort to work with personnel from other functions, to achieve overall success for the company. Most recently, Mr. Bhamani has been the head of our P&I team, that handled aspects such as IT, Project Management, etc. My team, Americas Quality, has been working heavily for some years to migrate toward paperless production on the manufacturing floor, use of Apps to immediately handle several common daily tasks (such as audits), and connection of test equipment to the e-stands we have on the manufacturing floor for rapid feedback on testing for product compliance. Mr. Bhamani organized key individuals in his organization to work directly with personnel on the Quality team, set up strategy sessions each year, and follow this up with regular updates to management of both groups on progress. We seemed to regularly achieve 60-90% of our targets each year, despite other priorities that his team often got pulled into. Essentially, Mr. Bhamani directed his team in a very organized and professional manner, insured communication at all levels, and most importantly, delivered regularly with results. There are a variety of other examples that Mr. Bhamani led that addressed the needs of all functions in the organization. The bottom line is you could count on him for communication, organization of resources, and delivery of results. He has been a terrific colleague for many years.
