My duties at TerraQuest centre around land referencing, which include, but aren’t limited to, analysing, verifying and graphically and/or textually capturing information in regards to ownership of land, creating plans, completing quality control checks, maintaining high productivity and liaising with colleagues and management. As well as this I also have to accurately record results of site visits, provide plans and relevant documentation on request and update project documentation and systems.

I started in Clements as Floor staff in their Queen's University, MBC building, Belfast. Here I was quickly trained to be supervisor (within 2-3 weeks), where I was responsible for aiding the manager in ordering, stock control and general running of the shop. As supervisor I helped with training of new staff, as well as basic till duties, cleaning, customer care, etc. In November 2013, I was promoted to Assistant Manager of Clement's botanic store by helping the manager ensuring daily operations of the store are smooth, stock management, control staff costs, as well as many other duties. In March 2016 I was promoted to Manager of the same store. It is now my entirety duty to ensure the smooth running of the store I.e. staff hiring, training and coaching, ensuring high levels of customer service, stock control, cleanliness and hygiene levels, etc. Show less

Duties included, ensuring customer satisfaction in accordance to company policies; implementing effective training and development; controlling staff costs; stock management; ensuring daily operations of the store are smooth and completed with the highest of standards; liaising with the area manager and other members of higher management team. Starting as a Team Member in February 2008 in Victoria Square, Belfast, I continually worked my way up through the Costa Coffee ‘ladder’. In Summer 2008 I was promoted to Team Leader position and following on from this (and upon completion of my studies at university), I was promoted to Manager of the Bloomfield's Shopping Centre store in November 2010. This was a newly opening store and it was my job to ensure this went smoothly and successfully; as well as continue staff training with all of the new employees. In May 2011 I transferred to Costa’s store in Lisburn’s Bow Street Mall, where I improved the general running of the store (including increasing sales) and continuing with staff training; as well as other duties (as stated above).
