Cindi Wirawan 林幸妮 „I had the privilege of having a mentoring session with Shola. Her insights and advice as a keynote speaker and coach were very helpful and actionable. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a speaker, coach or mentor! Thanks Shola 🙏

Shaheel Ramful „Shola delivered a very engaging and informative talk as part of Cell & Gene Therapy Catapult's ED&I Initiative focusing on Black History Month. She spoke about workplace inclusivity and all staff can use empathy and various communication tools to be better colleagues and promote diversity. She also incorporated her personal experiences on some of the biases that exist in the workplace and was able to provide valuable insights in a way that not only benefits under-represented groups, but everyone in the workplace as a whole. She was recommended to me as a speaker by a fellow colleague who had previously attended one of her talks. Shola's content was very well-received by all our staff members and has definitely helped with our ED&I initiative!

LinkedIn Mitglied „Shola delivered two webinars on Inclusion and Diversity across different time zones to a global employee audience and was a pleasure to work with throughout. Her content was excellent and presentation style incredibly warm and engaging - not an easy thing to do when delivering virtually! The feedback has been very positive. Thansk again Shola.

The progress of women and marginalised groups has been hit hard by the pandemic and other economic and political factors. Now, more than ever, we must take steps to redress imbalances and get on the path to creating a just environment for all. The goal: to show up at work (and in the world) as our best selves, and be treated with respect, fairness, compassion and consideration, regardless of our gender and other identity markers. Each workplace is unique with its own set of challenges so for this keynote, Shola will focus on giving participants the inspiration and tools to rally stakeholders and be catalysts for change. The keynote will begin by exploring some of the reasons why gender equity is urgently needed in today’s workplaces. We’ll then look at the power of empathy and explore communication strategies for challenging the status quo so that your attendees walk away with concrete tools to encourage and create equity. Learning objectives: The value of empathy and compassionThe importance of taking an intersectional approach – advancing together, not apartBias-breaking questions to ask whenever we make decisions that affect othersHow to speak up, be heard and challenge others respectfullyEmpathetic questioning: techniques for calling out and calling in when you see inequities and bias in actionA step-by-step framework for asking for what you want – it starts with us!This is a dynamic keynote which incorporates plenty of opportunities for audience interaction as well as moments to reflect.Find out more about booking this speech at https://sholakaye.com/women-diversity
