Shiyan has been a wonderful addition to our team, and I have been lucky enough to be her mentor and colleague during our time at Blue Prism. Her organization and attention to detail have been matched only by her inquisitive exploration of the problems we face. Bringing professionalism and a sense of humor to our engagements, there has never been a time when I have not felt that her presence has not added value to the task at hand. Shiyan has always taken the time to understand a problem, be it technical or interpersonal, and work through to find a solution that benefits all involved. She has been instrumental in the creation of Black Professionals in Intelligent Automation, and thanks to her efforts has helped me feel welcome in such a group despite my personal hesitations.

Shiyan comes form that rare breed of talented individual that is willing to go that extra mile to get the job done. As an implementation consultant at Taxware, Shiyan was thrown into complex configuration of sales and use tax engines and adapters with little direction. Shiyan's strong will to see a project through successful completion, had her occasionally working with cross functional teams to find viable solutions if needed. Ever the hard worker Shiyan typically put in the extra effort and hours necessary to ensure that projects were completed within their expected timeline. In addition, Shiyan worked as part of a cross functional team to develop and organize better implementation practices and overall process as part of the new implementation methodology that is currently being used. Shiyan also acted as a trainer for the sales and use tax software applications and ensures that clients gain a full understanding of the application and concepts before turning them over to the production environment. Overall, Shiyan is a pleasure to work with, extremely dependable, and detail orientated. She is truly an asset to any employer.
