Until just recently,I have had the opportunity to supervise an end to end solution validation project whose client is AKBank(Turkey).I was designated as the Track Lead to oversee the various testing related activities for the aforementioned client for a period of 7 months.The project primarily involved module and integration testing across CORE modules and Interface modules.Shivaprakash was involved throughout the course of the project.During the work distribution phase,some of the complex modules were distributed amongst our teammates whose exposure to these modules was nascent in nature.I can vividly recall that most of the modules assigned to shivaprakash were complex in nature and required prior familiarity with the product.But,his holistic approach to tackle the complex modules proved effective.He was proactive and took personal interest in scheduling various knowledge transfer sessions to gain comprehensive understanding of the base functionality of the assigned modules.Within short duration of time,he was able to acclimatize himself to the complex working nature of the assigned modules and was able to produce detailed test plans,which comprehensively addressed the intricacies of the assigned modules.To highlight his determined efforts,most of the test plans prepared by him were met with fewer or zero review comments.Subsequent to the responsibilities to write test plans,he was also assigned responsibilities to execute test plans prepared by other testers in parallel with the execution of test plans prepared by himself.Even at this playground he proved to be a key player owing to his flexibility to work across modules during critical deadlines,which required everyone to stretch beyond working hours without as much as a respite.During this critical phase,he contributed by unearthing defects,which were critical in nature.Looking back at the nature of defects unearthed,one can positively concur that shivaprakash is preternatural in unearthing high priority defects.Even though we had to face rainy days owing to significant number of critical deadlines and ever accumulating work,he always greeted every assignment with a broad smile coupled with resounding commitment glimmering through his eyes,thus helping us paint a much needed rainbow.His essence of dedication to ‘get things done’ was evident in producing desired results much before the communicated deadlines,except during inevitable circumstances.Thus,Shivaprakash was one among the primary contributors who helped the AKBank solution validation project to see the daylight.
