In this role, I taught mathematics, language, practical life, and sensorial and culture subjects to my students daily to expand their knowledge of key concepts and skills. I also prepared and taught classes in arts and crafts weekly where children benefited by displaying their creativity as well as played a vital role in teaching music and song time, movement, drama, and physical education. I provided lesson planning and planned activities on the spot to keep children focused and motivated; effectively controlled the classroom, providing a safe and well-managed learning environment where student learning was evident; and collaborated with other teachers and assistants in tending to each child’s individual needs. I also drew on my understanding of child psychology to help students enrich their skills in various subjects. Show less
