Shivam is a problem-solver who would consider any problem as his own and would do his best to devise a reliable solution. Even if he doesn't have appropriate tools at his hand, he would make them first and solve your problem. I think that no-one can afford not to have him on their team. The database of knowledge in his mind is much greater than any average human, ask him anything and you would get an answer. His expertise lies in Robotics and Robotics Software, Self-driving cars and Embedded Systems.

Shivam Bhardwaj is among the most intelligent and hard-working people I have met throughout my career. In January 2017, we met as colleagues at the Center for K12 STEM Education at the Tandon School of Engineering of New York University. In the summer of 2018, he became my supervisor the Summer Program for Automation Robotics and Coding. Shivam amazed our team with his intellect and creativity, inspired us with his work ethic, and motivated us with his passion. In the classroom, Shivam modeled excellent teaching skills. Along with his enthusiasm, positive energy, and attentiveness to students’ needs, he brings his special technical talents of robotics, mechatronics, automation, and artificial intelligence. Being the excellent educator and person, he is, Shivam leads the way when it comes to bringing technology into the classroom. He also took the time to teach our team on how to incorporate technology as an effective vehicle for learning. Beyond the classroom, I know Shivam was involved in many technologically innovative activities. He worked on a portable water purifier, on a self-driving car, and mostly recently a real-time pose estimation model. Shivam is a leader, creator, problem-solver, entrepreneur, educator, and friend to many. He would be an asset to any place of employment. Wait until you experience his energy!

Shivam took my robot perception course in Fall'2018 and also lead the student team of self-driving at NYU Tandon, for which I am serving as the faculty advisor. I'm amazed by Shivam's leadership, general interests, as well as his hands-on abilities in robotics. He also showed good mathematical intuitions when attending my robot perception course. Most importantly, he has demonstrated essential skills to make him a full-stack robotic engineer, which I feel is rare but very important. I am sure Shivam will eventually become a very successful roboticist.
