  Java Developer with Hadoop and Python (5+ Years) San Jose, CA 3 Months Must Have Skills: 5+ years of experience in software development and experience building large scale production applications. Strong Unix, Java, Python and SQL skills with software development experience. Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design (OOD) methodologies . Hands on experience on Parsing and optimization techniques & best practices is preferred. Good analytical and problem solving skills and a passion for debugging and problem investigation are a must. Good understanding of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms C/C++ skills is a plus. Exposure to data mining methodologies and Hadoop is a plus. Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture is a plus Excellent communication skills and ability to understand business requirements. Ability to adapt and learn new technologies. Experience in dealing with large volumes of data is a plus. Someone with eBay domain knowledge is a plus. Master in Computer Science is preferred.
