  After finishing my internship at the Bombay Hemp Company, I gained a wealth of knowledge about the healthcare supply chain that I would not have otherwise gained from working as an intern in research and development. Working for the Bombay Hemp Company brought several highs with it, whether it be negotiating contracts with vendors and providing cost savings, acquiring material urgently just in time to prevent a halt in production, or simply celebrating Diwali at the workplace. One of the most crucial was that I had to collaborate cross-functionally with many departments, including IT, the manufacturing sector, quality compliance, and R&D, in order for the idea to come true. This assignment gave me the chance to practise dealing people gently and resolving issues with scant information. Among the many tasks I completed, in addition to working with wonderful people and learning a tremendous amount, were the following: . Formulation development. . Vendor rating. . Literature review. . Creation of a clinical trial database. . Brand promotion efforts. . Support for regulatory compliance. It has been nice working here and receiving fresh perspectives on the supply chain via the view of the pharmaceutical business. I am looking forward to further learning opportunities.
