Adili Energy Solutions was subcontracted by Ofgen for Consultancy Services to Conduct a Due Diligence Study for the acquisition of six Mini Grid facilities in Turkana County and Marsabit Counties. Sites include: Longech Minigrid Turkana County Lolupe Minigrid Turkana County Naduat Minigrid Turkana County Kataboi Minigrid Turkana County Illeret Minigrid Marsabit County Dukana Minigrid Marsabit County My main scope of work included: 1. Writing of Draft and Final Report including all the Findings from my Audit of the 6 Solar powered Mini-Grids 2. Provide Geographical information (GIS data) for each site using Mapit GIS including; PV site location, Power drop at Customer's location, poles location, three phase lines and single phase lines 3. Bill of Quantities of equipment used at each site including warranty documentations of materials at PV generation point, power distribution and at Customer drop 4. Evaluation of customers: This included conducting General meetings with community leaders and community members to get to understand the impact and challenges brought about by the project 5. Technical Evaluation of every equipment employed by the project. Noted down faults occurred from historical records, installation that are not in line with industry best practice, faults as witnessed during inspection and possible future faults that would occur if changes were not made.
