  I'm privileged to work with the international charity TREE AID, which helps people in the drylands of Africa to lift themselves out of poverty and protect their environment. People here live in some of the toughest conditions on earth and trees are essential to their survival. TREE AID works with local communities to help them protect and grow trees for nutrition, to generate income and to help create a more sustainable environment for themselves and future generations.   ICF is the professional body for foresters and arboriculturists in the UK, providing platforms for professional learning and collaboration on the latest research, news and issues facing the sector. The Institute was founded in 1925 as the Society of Foresters of Great Britain and was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1982.
