  • Participate actively in and lead the customer engagement activities associated with the development of solar product concepts through to product definition.• Design of new product design- in tools including selection of appropriate components for the new solar system.• Be responsible for design- in successes of assigned new products releases and products under development. This requires a detailed understanding of the customer’s application and providing innovative, practical and timely solutions to customers.• Develop systems level understanding in assigned application segments. Understand the customer systems issues with a view to defining value-added solutions.• Play an active role in the cross-departmental teams assigned to releasing new products developing technical documentation support i.e. datasheets, application notes, technical seminars and trade press articles in support of new product releases.• Develop and participate in new product training activities for customers, Field Application Engineers, Sales Engineers and distributors.• Done various other duties as assigned under the direction of senior engineer.
