During my junior year of high school, I worked at an after school program for elementary and middle school kids. This program was geared towards helping young kids finish their homework at school, as well as enriching their education with supplementary assignments related to English and math. Tutoring these kids opened up a whole new world for me by teaching me that everyone can make a change for someone else, no matter how small the change may seem.
