I had the opportunity to work under Shin How within Workato's business intelligence team, and during our time working together, Shin How proved himself to be one of the most knowledgeable and effective supervisors I have had the privilege to work under. Shin How's dedication to his work was truly impressive. Despite his busy schedule, he always made time to provide constructive feedback and provide his expertise, which helped me grow professionally during my internship. His remarkable ability to handle tough challenges calmly and effectively was instrumental in building and maintaining Workato's ETL infrastructure to the highest quality. One of the standout qualities that Shin How possesses as a supervisor is his unique talent for guiding others in an engaging and informative manner. He has a clear and concise way of explaining complex concepts of Workato and data analysis, making it easy for his team members to understand. He also leverages different mediums to effectively communicate his point, making him a valuable asset to the team. I strongly recommend working with Shin How. He is a true professional who always goes above and beyond to ensure the success of his team and the organization as a whole. Working under his guidance was a fruitful and meaningful experience, and his work ethic, attitude, and leadership skills are truly remarkable. I am confident that he will make a significant contribution to any organization he works with.

Shin How is one of the first few people I met and connected with when I first joined Workato back in 2020. He may not look approachable at first glance but he turned out to be someone who made me feel really welcomed as he took time to share with me about the team and what he does as a Business Intelligence analyst. Soon after, a HR hackathon was held and we had an option to pick a mentor. Without any hesitation, I approached Shin How to be our mentor. As someone without any tech background, I would often ask what seemed like a silly question but he always made it a point to explain to me patiently in layman terms. Furthermore, he constantly check-in and challenged us to think deeply about the problem and solution. With his guidance, we eventually came in first for the competition. Overall, Shin How is an inspiring colleague who possesses great tenacity and curiosity in his character which has been exemplified in his work. He has a strong understanding of data management and analytics. As such, I firmly believe that he will be an asset to any data teams that he chooses to join.
