  1) Position the crane safely alongside the vessel at the required Hatch/bay as per the vesselSupervisor’s instructions and in accordance with the crane program.2) Lower the boom of the crane, hoist down the spreader and start discharging / loading containers from / to vessel according to instructions3) Ensure not to handle container prior unlashing & twist-locks unlocking is completed4) Ensure the lashers are in a safe position whilst discharging / loading operation is in process5) Take all safety precaution needed when lifting hatch cover from / to vessel6) Take all safety measures required while working under poor visibility and coordinate with thetally clerks and vessel supervisor to resolve issues related to visibility7) Ensure that crane is clear from vessel obstructions to avoid accidents that could occur in lieu ofthese obstructions8) Report immediately any fault observed during operations9)Operational pre check up10) Undertake routine cleaning of cabins and windows11) Follow the concept of corrective maintenance (report any minor faults, even if they do notimpact the working of the equipment)12) Train new trainees whenever requiredHolding GCC Heavy Equipment License or Heavy License with Port equipment knowledge.
