As the pioneer of product giving for social good, In Kind Direct has been the leading authority in the UK consumer product giving sector, with a growing network of international licensees. Working as the Philanthropy Lead for a wonderful charity that is really close to my heart. One of the main reasons for joining In Kind Direct was that it acts as a bridge in enabling that all it's beneficiaries have access to the life's essentials. It ensures no one has to face any social exclusion just because they can't afford the basic necessities, that many of us take for granted. In Kind Direct is a charity set up by HRH The Prince of Wales to make it easy for companies to donate all kinds of stock to benefit good causes across the UK. In Kind Direct has worked with over 1,160 companies so far, providing one point of contact for product donations which are then distributed to a growing network of 9,800 UK charitable organisations. The service is a lifeline for small charities in particular, enabling them to secure essential goods for their operations and the people they support. In Kind Direct’s well-established vetting and monitoring processes mean that companies can donate products safe in the knowledge that their brands are protected. And who wouldn't appreciate the fact that almost 25,000 tonnes of usable products have been diverted from going to landfill.
