I have had the pleasure of working with Sherrir through her Presidency at NADONA and also at NJADONA. Sherrir has a true passion for the leaders in LTC. She is inspirational, dedicated, and has done tremendous work to improve the image of nurses in LTC and also to mentor and grow our professionalism and expertise. It has been a privilege to work with her and she has been a wonderful gift to so many people in LTC. She is a role model, and exemplifies what a nurse should aspire to. She has true courage, perserverance, and integrity. I love who she is and all that she represents. Debbie Afasano

Day to day operation of the Nursing Department for the 286 residents in the Facility. A CCRC that was known in Gloucester County for being the best of the best! Responsible for operating and capitol budgets. During my tenure we graduated over 25 Staff members through the nursing scholarship program. We had them work 16 to 20 hours per week, they maintained a C or above grade in school and we paid for their credits and paid them a 40 hour per week salary. We also worked around their schedule at school. I was extremely proud of all of the nurses aides and LPN we had work and attend school!! The facility had a great reputation at this time. I had a professional well oiled team who covered for one another and took great care of our residents!!! Show less
