I worked closely alongside Sherri for about 2 years in her time at Discover Kalamazoo. My role was to promote and sell Kalamzoo to sports event planners, and Sherri’s role was to provide the boots on the ground service and support to those groups when they arrived in town and held their events here in Kalamazoo. I always had the utmost confidence that Sherri was taking the absolute best care of our groups and providing the highest level of service. She often times went out of her way, going above and beyond, to take care of our clients at Discover Kalamazoo. Sherri was an independent worker who was extremely self-motivated which made our jobs easier knowing they were in such great hands. On top of that, Sherri very regularly came to the table with new and creative ideas for our groups that set us apart from the competition. Sherri is reliable, trustworthy, and to be very honest with you, we miss her dearly around here and still stay in touch as friends. Her personality and positivity is infectious. I have no doubt in my mind that Sherri would make an excellent addition to any team she joins and will immediately boost the team culture because of it. Sherri is a great friend and colleague; any team would be lucky to have her join their organization!
