      As a peirce manager, I was responsible for determining residual value (RV) and repair, maintenance and tyre (RMTY) costs for each model and variant of cars available in the Indian automobile market based on data analysis and research. I brought about a scientific methodology and formulas to arrive at these budgets and then was responsible to manage these budgets for our fleet of 12,000+ cars. Being in this role, I was responsible for product knowledge management in the company as well. The highlight was playing a pivotal role in creating a new line of business for the company of managing vehicle maintenance packages for automobile manufacturers. The first successful deal we closed was with the Volkswagen Group of companies. This deal helped the company get out of a very difficult cash flow issue at that time and I was given a reward for the same.

My biggest contribution here was launching a collection of chronograph watches in record time, the success of which perhaps played a role in the brand’s continued existence.
