University gave me an opportunity to participate in constructing a small- scale version of a real-life project – Ravenspurn oil rig which is sponsored by Byrne Bros. During this project was appointed as the Project Manager and had a team of 14 members which was a huge responsibility right from the initial planning to the final installation. Putting theory into practice has thought me a lot about planning and organizing, teamwork, health and safety, leadership skills, site experience, time management, quality.
