When I worked with Sherard, he was diligent and followed up on every request that I asked him to take care of. He got along well with others and was very goal oriented. I think he will go far in his career.

Upon my graduation from UTPB I started my position as a staff accountant. I have learned the inner workings of state and federal tax returns. Working at Fasken gave me my first experience of working in a office. I was in charge of producing and submitting production federal reports and New Mexico reports. While there I was able to help on many state audits as well as other projects. I created worksheets to correctly allocate production from a battery level back to the well. I made sure that all reports exceeded state and federal standards. Constant education was key to ensure reporting was being submitted properly. Spreadsheet changes would have to be updated to ensure that new regulations are being met. I learned an enormous amount about the oil industry and oil/gas contracts. Show less

Made sure all wireline equipment (logging tools, trucks, and supplies) was kept ready to work. Repaired/maintained collar locators as well as bond tools. Also helped in the field when needed in logging, perforating, or frac operations. Worked with cranes as well as loading guns. Learned basic principles behind running a truck out in the field from the controllers chair. Made sure all wireline equipment (logging tools, trucks, and supplies) was kept ready to work.
