Bio
Rosalie Pontz, MBA, M.Ed.
Adam Brooks, is a consummate professional who effectively leads by example. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Adam when he was the Senior Manager of Technology, Analytics, and Workflow Standards at Charter Communications. Adam is a brilliant technology expert, who is always willing to help. He teaches while assisting, to enable others to apply his techniques when they need to. He encourages learning reinforcement through hands-on application; and is happy to stay engaged until you are confident in using the process or tool. In this vein, Adam developed a Tech Bytes lunch and learn program that benefited everyone across our Learning and Development team. By taking complex processes, tasks, or tools and breaking their functionality into "byte-sized" pieces he encouraged non-technical team members to try technology-based activities they likely would otherwise not have approached. Additionally, for nearly three years, Adam joined me in spearheading and leading a departmental Spirit Team. Particularly during the pandemic, when our organization was working remotely from home, our efforts filled a void. Bringing everyone together monthly, if only for a short time, we brought recognition, humor, levity, and a bit of relaxation, creating a positive diversion from the worry and stress that clouded that two-year period. On that front, Adam brought his dry sense of humor and mastery of fun leading unique events, sprinkled with Dad jokes, music, and trivia. I'll forever be thankful to Adam for stepping up to work with me in this capacity. It was well outside the scope of his Senior Manager responsibilities; but he accepted the challenge wholeheartedly and made a real difference! It was my pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with and get to know Adam; and although we no longer work together, I hope to always have an on-going relationship with him.

Adam is a unique person, one of those folks that you look at for examples when shaping your own behaviors. He will have a conversation with you and remember details about that conversation that others may not. Then, he will surprise you one day with a gift related to your common interests. My gift was a vinyl record of John F. Kennedy’s speeches. I miss working with him. He’s a great teammate.
