I have had the pleasure of being managed by Lauren for the last two years. She has made me feel welcome and like I was a necessary part of the team from day 1. She has been an incredible team leader who has continued to inspire and motivate me to become a stronger communicator, planner, and storyteller. Lauren is an incredible strategic planner and has developed our team to love the planning process and get at what's really important when creating our plans. Because of her, I can't wait to jump into planning and think about what I can try and play with--free of judgement. She has pushed my thinking with every plan, lifted me up when she knew I was capable of something, and trusted in me to make the right decisions and execute. Lauren leads with empathy and has a keen eye toward the way others feel and experience things. She has strong communication and has always made me feel included in anything that was related to my projects. She has always been interested in making sure I learn and grow in the areas I'm interested in and work on in projects. She has a great skill in problem solving and I've seen in the last year how much she has grown in helping her team practice problem solving on their own or collaboratively. I have loved watching Lauren push herself to grow while honing in on her top skills. At every step of the way she has been open and honest with the team about where she's at and what she's learning. It has been refreshing to hear from her in this way, and the kind of leader I admire to be so intimate and honest. Lauren has always been able to do anything she sets out to do and I know she will be an incredible asset for the next organization she joins. I hope to one day be able to work for her again.
