  • Designed and fabricated a TiO2/Ni(OH)2 alkaline rechargeable battery by employing two different reaction mechanisms in the electrodes. • Fabricated and studied a TiO2/LiMn2O4 lithium ion aqueous battery with high voltage. • Revealed and studied firstly aluminum ion storage behavior in anatase TiO2 and KCu [Fe(CN)6], and fabricated an aqueous Al-ion battery. • Proposed and realized the concept of multivalent intercalation-based battery system. • Developed a Li-K3Fe(CN)6/Br2 battery system with aqueous/noaqueous bi-phase electrolytes applicable in stationary/large-scale energy storage devices. • Synthesized 0.5Li2MnO3•0.5LiMn0.5Ni0.5O2 composite cathode material with high capacity, which performs electrochemical activity in aqueous electrolyte by acid treatment.
