I developed and implemented lesson plans focusing on painting, drawing, collage, 3-D design, graphic design, ceramics, and printmaking. I established course goals and administered assessment methods to improve student progress. I ordered and maintained art materials within a limited budget. I selected and arranged student artwork in district art shows. I developed and instructed an after school Photoshop workshop for elementary students as an introduction to graphic design. I incorporated art production, art criticism, art history and the elements and principles of design into lessons using technology, providing students with an enriching and enlightening academic experience. I designed and instructed Photoshop in graphic design unit and Moviemaker in a claymation unit for 7th grade students to gain hands on experience using technology and to connect learning to real world experiences.
