Huntsville Community Chorus Youth Chorale

  Starting with 9 students in 2009, the Huntsville Youth Chorale grew under my direction to over 80 members. With this growth it allowed HCCA to form a Treble Chorale for our middle school treble voices. This brought us to 60 singers. The YC performed in Carnegie Hall, and in concerts alongside artists such as with Wynonna Judd, Act of Congress, Committed, members of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, and more. Starting with 9 students in 2009, the Huntsville Youth Chorale grew under my direction to over 80 members. Sparkman High School

  In my tenure at Sparkman HS I grew their choral department from the ground up. Starting with only two beginning choirs my first year to then a women’s, beginning choir, intermediate choir, and an advanced concert choir. The concert choir went on to perform two master works with HYO and the Vivaldi Requiem in Carnegie Hall. It became one of the leading high school choral programs in the Huntsville/Madison area.
