Rev. Stephanie Gameros
To Whom it May Concern: It is a privilege to write this recommendation for Chaplain Shelley Goodale. As a staff chaplain and ACPE Certified Educator Candidate at Kaiser San Leandro Medical Center, I have known Shelley Goodale since September 2020. We met when she began serving as a Chaplain Intern at Kaiser San Leandro Medical Center. She completed all her four C.P.E. units through our center. Shelley Goodale has a reflective and open mind, a caring heart, a loving spirit and an approachable, kind demeanor. Her authentic passion for living out her Catholic faith and her calling to service shines through in person, online, in writing, when she is teaching, and in her professional quality clinical charting. I have witnessed Shelley Goodale’s growth and learning throughout her four units in our program: she boldly steps into any clinical encounter to render compassionate, grace-filled, skillful spiritual care. She reverently provides spiritual care to all people coming from diverse cultures and religious expressions. I have had the privilege of witnessing her in action caring for many grieving families. Her spiritual care has been highly appreciated by patients and families, and the multidisciplinary team at the hospital. We have been so fortunate to have her, and she has been a joy to work with these past two years! Please feel free to contact me via email at Stephanie.A.Gameros@kp.org with any questions or concerns. Best Regards, Rev. Stephanie Gameros, BCC, ACPE Certified Educator Candidate
