Oversee 14 branded and non-branded hotels including Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, IHG, Best Western brands. As Regional Director of Sales and Marketing I am responsible for maximizing the total revenue and revenue penetration for the California region of Pacifica Host Hotels. The primary responsibility for this position includes the oversight of the sales teams through an active role in working with the Director of Sales and Sales Managers. This includes participation in property visits, mentoring GM’s, DOSM’s and Sales Managers, and strategic review of each property within the assigned region. I also am part of the transition team for new acquisitions. Work with the property level sales and revenue teams to review the short & long term Revenue Forecasts, review the weekly and monthly forecast critiques, identifying areas of opportunity and strategies to improve the revenue and profitability of the properties. Lead, direct & motivate the local sales teams through coaching and detailed action plans. Assist hotel in meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals in Rooms, F&B, Meeting Room Rental, and RevPAR Index. In conjunction with hotel staff, develops plans, special sales activities, and promotions. Monitors Return on Investment of all sales and marketing action plans and promotions and sales blitzes. Set sales goals for each DOS and Sales Manager and oversee on property sales production and performance measurement. Direct marketing communications efforts with social media director. Develop short and long-term strategic marketing plans for all segments and sources of business. Prepare and manage annual Sales & Marketing Plans. Participate and monitor revenue calls weekly with Starwood, Marriott and IHG. Oversee DOSMs and Sales Managers in the RFP and Business Case process. Reservation Center presentations for Marriott and IHG and Starwood. Show less
